I.Discipline.
(a) No N.C.O. or man is permitted to leave the Camp before 5.30 p.m. or after10 p.m., except on duty or pass.
(b) On Saturdays, work allowing, the hour of p.m. is substituted for 5.30 p.m., and on Sundays the men may leave Camp after Devine Service Parades of their denominations.
(c) All N.C.O.'s and men leaving Camp in Uniform must wear the regulation belt.
(d) N.C.O.'s and men in charge of huts are responsible that all men are out of bed at Reveille, and that all beds are made up properly before 7 a.m., also that the names of all men reporting sick are given to the Company Orderly before 7 a.m.
(e) All Mechanics and Drivers of the R.I.C., except when driving on public roads, will wear dungarees during working hours. Badges of rank will be worn on the dungarees.
(f) Officers in charge of Companies will be held responsible that men proceeding on leave hand in their public property to stores prior to their departure. Their leave pass should not be handed to them until they can produce a receipt from the Head Constable in charge of stores.
(g) Whenever any party of R.I.C. Transport Division is accommodated in Military Barracks, or quarters occupied by the Military Forces they are to comply with the ordinary Military routine. The Officer, Head Constable, Sergeant or Senior Constable in charge of the party will be held responsible that discipline is maintained, and the best traditions of the Royal Irish Constabulary upheld. One member at least of the Constabulary party will be detailed to be attached to the Quarter Guard.
        
II, Leave. Week-end Passes.
(a) Applications for week-end passes must reach this office by 10 o'clock on Saturday mornings, otherwise they will not be granted.
(b) All men leaving Camp must be properly dressed in complete uniform or plain clothes.No man will be permitted to leave Camp in plain clothes unless in possession of a plain clothes pass.
(c) On return to Camp all passes must be handed to the Sergeant of the Guard, who will note the condition of the man on the pass.
(d) Men on leave in England will not under any circumstances whatever apply to Recruiting Officers for money to pay their fare back to Ireland.
Men should not be allowed to proceed to England without sufficient money to pay their return fares to Ireland.
     
III. Vehicles.
No vehicle will be allowed to pass in or out of Camp without a pass, and entrance and exit will only be permitted by the Main Gate.
Two passes, an out pass and an in pass, are issued to each car leaving and due to return. These passes will be signed only by the Officer i/c Station Transport.
Drivers reporting to Station Transport Officer for vehicle passes must produce authority, from the officer under whom they are serving, steting the duty.
 No car is to be taken from the Workshops or R.& D. Vehicle Park without the direct order of the Officer i/c Workshops, or R.& D. Vehicle Park ; and further, these Officers will issue no orders for any vehicle without instructions from this office.
 Once a vehicle has been handed over to the Officer i/c Workshops it is not to be taken out unless so ordered by that Officer.
No vehicle will be accepted for repairs unless covered by the authority of the Divisional Inspector of Transport, or failing him, the Officer in charge of Light Repair Units.
                      
IV. Postings.
As soon as vehicles are ready for issue from R.& D. the Officer i/c R.& D. will apply to O/C "B" Company for the number of drivers required. These drivers will immediately take over their vehicles, complete with equipment. They will be employed under the Officer i/c R.& D., but will only be attached from "B" Company, and not transferred.
 All men arriving from counties, or from England, will be posted to "B" Company. Subsequent postings will be carried out by the Company to which the men belong, under instructions from this office.
 Drafts  for Orders must be sent to this Office by 2 p.m. daily.
      
V. Arms.
No Head or other Constable is to keep in his possession, without the permission of the Inspector General any arms except those delivered for his use by the Government ; neither is he to purchase or sell or otherwise traffic in arms upon any pretext whatever.
  Officers Commanding Companies will be responsible that revolvers are not allowed to remain in the custody of men who are not on duty ; that they are issued only when a man is going on duty and are taken up immediately he returns.
                
VI. Lights.
No lights are permitted in Camp after "Lights Out", except in Officers Quarters and Mess, also in Sergeants' Messes, to 12 p.m. and in Reserve Mess to 10 p.m. only.
 
VII. Accidents.
Full reports of all accidents must be submitted on form M.T.7 immediately on the termination of the duty on which they were occasioned. The names and addresses of witnesses, together with a sketch showing the road positions should accompanty, M.T. 7.
               
VIII. Ablution Sheds and Bath Houses.
All ablution sheds and bath houses will be closed to all ranks from 9a.m. to 11a.m., to enable the usual fatigue parties to proceed uninterrupted with the work of cleansing these houses.
 
IX. Working Parades.
At the 8a.m. Working Parade all men must appear properly shaved and properly dressed.
 
X. Repair Discipline.
When a vehicle goes into a Repair Unit either for examination or overhaul, it will invariably be accompanied by its driver, who will work on his vehicle the same hours as the Workshop sfaff.
Whilst the Driver is at the Workshop, the Workshop Officer is responsible for his discipline to the proper authority.
The driver will not leave the Workshop with his vehicle until the Workshop Officer authorises it in writing. The County Inspector will be responsible that the driver is accommodated when his vehicle is at a Workshop.
Members of the Transport Division R.I.C. will be under the disciplinary control of the R.I.C. Officers of the District to which they are attached.
                
XI. Working Hours.
The Working Hours for the R.I.C. Transport Division are as follows :- 8 a.m. to 1.0 p.m.
                                                                                                          2 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
                                                                                       Saturdays--8 a.m. to  1.0 p.m.
