I am trying to locate the home district of Thomas Mahoney (or Mahony) who enlisted in the R.I.C. in October 1838. His native county was Cork and the
recommendation was made by "Henry Beadle Esq." Has anyone come across this Henry Beadle? I have been unable to find him in the records. I would be
grateful for any information.

Is it possibly a mistake in transcription?.Try Beale,a well known name in Cork City.Just a thought...
