Is it possible to locate early Constabulary posts? I have the service records of my two Robert Willis' and would love to know more about their training and
postings.

Served Roscommon 6yrs 4mths, Galway 5yrs 5mths, Tyrone from 1,9.1840, Leitrim from 1.9.1851. Made Constable 1.1.1831 2nd Head Constable 1.9.1851, received an award of 3pounds. Served 32yrs 8 mths & pensioned 1.11.1861 @ 50 pounds per year paid at Ballinamore quarterly.
