For the first time user, creating a new post is a two stage process. You will first need to create a new Yuku account (this is free and takes a matter of seconds); then you will need to be approved by this forum's administrator before you can post. Again this is free but the response time depends on the availability of the administrator.
Here is some further detail on the steps you should follow:
1. First create your Yuku account
If you are not a member of Yuku you are free to browse the board. However you will not be able to create a new post or reply to any posts. The creation of a Yuku account is outside of the remit of this forum's administrator, but these steps should help you on your way. As a new or 'anonymous' user you will see the following screenshot when looking at a topic.

1.1 So to get started, first click on 'Sign Up' at the top left or 'New Topic' on the top right of your screen. You will get a message inviting you to create a new profile in Yuku. You should follow the steps given. As part of the process an email will be sent to the email address you provided in the process, you will need to open this email and click on the link to activate your account. Then you can return to this forum. Now you should see the following screen (note the area highlighted in red).

If however you have forgotten to activate your account by opening your email, you will get the following screen:

That brings us to the end of step 1.
2. You now need to be 'approved' by the administrator of this forum
This is a step I have had to take to prevent spamming and also to control access and understand my community. To bring up the application form to gain 'approval' to post you will need to open any topic and 'Add Reply' to it. To assist you in this use this link.
You will see the following message:

Simply complete the form and type in some details on who you are and why you want to join. NOTE THAT YOU NEED TO PROVIDE YOUR FULL NAME. Nobody will see this apart from the administrator, and your personal details will not be stored or revealed. I may choose not to allow someone to join until I am sure of that person's credentials. Depending on my availability, it may take some time to approve your membership, so please be patient.
Once you have been approved, you can open a new topic, reply to existing topics, and post away.
So to repeat: for the first time user, creating a new post is a two stage process. You will first need to create a new Yuku account; then you will need to be approved by this forum's administrator before you can post.
