Hi I'm looking for information on the R.I.C. barracks that was in High Street Balbriggan Co. Dublin in the mid 1800's. How can I find out some information concerning this.

One of the simplest methods may be to ring the local Garda station. You can be guaranteed an answer as i was about a barracks in Swinford Co Mayo by a local Garda. Michael Guilfoyle |

Hi Mark
Will post a modern photo asap pf this building, known as Kincora House as far as I know. My GF Stephen Kirwan, Sgt RIC was serving there when he was killed in Ballyboughil in 1921. If you want to see an old photo, go to: http://www.balbriggan.net/No1Brangan.htm Cheers Des |
