Interesting speech by Michael D., IMHO.
He sure covered a broad swathe of the various groups, loyalties, vested interests and opinions in the years of conflict in Ireland, 1916-1923 and after.
He even mentioned the Old RIC.....
For me, possibly over-did level of anti-sectarian killings in parts of (now) ROI and definitely underplayed what happened in (now) N. Ireland in that context.
Particularly delighted he included an appropriate challenge to "The Irish" about commemoration of our Civil War.
A centenary opportunity to really bury hatchets - one way or another - haha.
