Got the link.Thanks for that.I obtained the information relation to HC Rahill being the acting Sergeant from the British Library.Unfortunately the last Sergeants list they have is July 1920(as you know they were issued twice yearly).Just my luck.The January 1921 list would have been a great reference.

Given the elapsed time, its unlikely there was a direct link between Rahill leaving and your grandfather taking over, but you never know.
