Galway ]]> http://irishconstabulary.com/reply/1773/RIC-at-Oughterard-Co-Galway#reply-1773 With regard to my Great Grandfather, I came across a document yesterday which has a cross examination of him at a hearing in Dublin Castle in 1901 regarding pay & conditions of the constabulary. He was representing his fellow Waterford constables in a bid for a pay increase. There are several other constables and head constables mentioned in the document.
